Dive into the $10 Bargain Bin for Playstation 2!

Now that your PS3 is possibly bricked, this might be an excellent time to dust off your PS2. Here is a list of great games available for the PS2 even if you're feeling tight on money. I noticed recently that many stores have a large bin of games for less than $10 that will scratch the gaming itch. Here are 8 games for the ps2 under $10, in less than 3 sentences a piece.

God of War 1, currently this game is $9.99 at GameStop. Hands down God of War 1 is one of the best games to come out on the ps2 in the last 4 years. Skip the sequel and God of War III, pop in the original, and let Kratos' blades saw through most everything that walks or flies.

Resident Evil 4, some say it's better than Resident Evil 5. This is a game that screams longevity, captivating story, easy puzzles, and powerful weapons make this one a must have. The game is $10 or less at most game stores, it's a must have for new and old fans of Resident Evil.

Yakuza, a game which is similar to the sandbox style of Grand Theft Auto III. With in-depth fighting, a gripping and sometimes confusing story from Japan, and more side missions then I care to remember, Yakzua is a good buy that will provide at least 30 hours of fun. Right now it's $9.99 in most stores.

Ratchet and Clank, who can forget the first game? Although I was late to the party, this quirky, action platformer sucked me in within the first 10 minutes. A little on the short side, the endless weapons and fun factor, i.e., the game doesn't take itself too seriously and it's not overly hard to make it a great title to add to your collection for less than $10.

Devil May Cry 3, one of the few games in my youth that created blisters on my thumbs, this game takes action to the max, its go-go-go all the time with no rest from waves of enemies in this game. At less than $10, you cannot go wrong with this game. Warning, I am not liable for broken or mangled controllers or blistered fingers from Devil May Cry 3.

Tatio Legends, most stores have this for less than $5. It has a monstrous collection of classic arcade games, over 25 titles. Who doesn't love Bubble Bobble, Operation Wolf, and Rainbow Island?

Bully, a classic from Rockstar although it's been brought over to next-gen consoles, the original on the Playstation 2 is the way to go. Traverse the school causing mischief, and taking down bullies, it's a good romp for younger gamers, and at $10 it is the perfect price.

Tekken Tag tournament, this game is a classic. I was never a fan of Tekken until this gem came along; being able to swap out fighters on the fly gave me a chance against my skilled friends. There are 20 fighters to choose from and for less than $10, if you've never played a Tekken game, this is a good one to start with.

There are hundreds of games under $10, including most of the Final Fantasy's, as well as some of the other RPGS, action, Guitar Hero games, and platform games that most ps2 gamers have in their collection. Not only are these games available in the stores, but they are readily available on Goozex for less than 200 points.
