Danny Masterson, best known for his role in the hit comedy “That ’70s Show“, is accused of sexually assaulting three woman. The actor denies the charges and claims the allegations are motivated to boost” the anti-Scientology series of Leah Remini, who reportedly encouraged one accuser to report the actor to police.

No charges have been filed against the actor.

An open investigation:

The Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement that the Sexual Assault Section, is conducting an investigation involving the actor Danny Masterson as three women have come forward and disclosed that they were sexually assaulted by Masterson during the early 2000’s.”

The three alleged victims were Scientologists, like the actor at the time of the incidents, according to Tony Ortega‘s Scientology blog The Underground Bunker.

Ortega’s blog posted copies of what it says are police reports. One of the reports, the first accuser claims she and Masterson were dating for six years and that in 2001, he sodomized her in her sleep and laughed about it when she woke up.

She reached out to Leah Remini who encouraged her to report the actor. Remini is a former Church of Scientology member, she has a series about Scientology which airs on A&E called “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath”, it debuted last year.

Masterson’s rep said in a statement to E! News: “Based on reading the anti-Scientology blog that posted this story, these false allegations appear to be motivated to boost Leah Remini’s anti-Scientology television series since [the accuser] only came forward after connecting with Leah Remini. The alleged incident occurred in the middle of their six-year relationship, after which she continued to be his longtime girlfriend,” the rep said. “Significantly, during their long relationship, she made numerous inconsistent claims that she was previously raped by at least three other famous actors and musicians. When Danny ended the relationship, she continued to pursue him, even making threats to beat up his current wife Bijou Phillips unless she left him.”

More accusations:

According to the blog, authorities reopened the second woman’s case, after the first accuser contacted the police. It also claimed that the first accuser wrote a letter to LAPD Chief Charlie Beck, detailing her accusations on Feb. 22.

In her letter, she said that she has recently learned about the second accuser as well as a third, who also recently filed a police report against Masterson. However, no details were given

She said that Scientology officials have threatened me that if she ever told anyone or reported it to the police, she would be declared a ‘suppressive person’ and lose everything and everyone.
