Heartbroken Billie Lourd has lost her mother Carrie Fisher and her grandmother Debbie Reynolds in the space of just one day. The devastated actress will need all the support she can get now to cope with the personal tragedy, and has been seen being comforted by her boyfriend Taylor Lautner.
Ms Lourd, 24, was already mourning the death of her mother, the Star Wars legend Ms Fisher, 60, when she lost her grandmother, Ms Reynolds, who suffered a suspected stroke. Ms Lourd has been seen in Santa Monica, California, along with Twilight actor Mr Lautner, moving suitcases from her home. It is thought she may have been going to stay with loved ones while dealing with the loss of her mother. Just quarter of an hour after she was seen, her grandmother was taken ill and rushed to hospital.
Mr Lautner has described Ms Lourd as one of the strongest and most fearless people he has ever met. She will now need all of her strength to get through losing her beloved mother and grandmother.
While the Ms Lourd and Mr Lautner have not confirmed their relationship, the young actors often appear together in social media posts. While Mr Lautner is best known for playing Jacob in the incredibly successful Twilight saga, Ms Lourd is currently playing Channel #3 in Fox television series Scream Queens. She also had a small role in the 2015 Star Wars sequel The Force Awakens. While it had been rumoured that she would play a young version of Princess Leia, she actually had the role of Lieutenant Connix.
Her mother Ms Fisher died four days after suffering a heart attack onboard a transatlantic flight from London to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Ms Reynolds died just a day after her daughter, after saying: “I want to be with Carrie.”
