- Each time you request a game, make sure to sell a game. If you're brand new, you'll have to sell a few anyway just to get some points to spend. By sending games out as you receive other games, you help the community as a whole by being an active trader, and that benefits you in the long run.
- Keep a large enough point balance to cover your requests.
- Request several different games at once and then be prepared to wait for a match. Sometimes requesting the disc-only option results in a quicker trade (it's cheaper to mail without the case). Put items on hold if you don't want something right away. Your position in the queue will still advance even if you’re on hold.
- Use the Goozex printed mailing labels. You can now use tokens to pay for shipping, which reduces your costs and speeds up the process to buy a label.
- Pay attention to price fluctuations. Just like the stock market, you'll want to sell high and buy low. Currently, the cap for high demand games is 2400 points and the low is 100.
- PM the other party to say hi and let them you know you sent out the game.
- Buy a bulk set of #0 envelopes. DVD size and easy to mail.
- Vacation mode. Know it. Use it. Avoid getting matched for a trade and missing the email.
- Patience is key. Especially right now. Hopefully in a few weeks, your patience will be rewarded with a mailbox full of games.
- Participate in the community. Have fun in the forums. Play Goozex Game Nights. If you want, you can even write articles for GoozerNation.
