Ian McShane, who played Brother Ray on the hit HBO show Game of Throne, revealed the Hound’s return before the airing of season 6.
The actor shamed the fans for their undying passion towards the HBO fantasy series. His character on the show nurses the Hound back to life. He lashed at fans recently after the spoiler backlash drama of 2016.
McShane had done several interviews where he divulged a tad too much about his character and the return of the fan-favorite the Hound, which led to criticism from die-hard fans of the series.
A year later, the 74-year-old veteran actor cannot still wrap his head around the fact that his spoilers about the last season have caused such uproar. “Can you believe it? ‘Oh, you’re giving it away.’ Firstly, you love it; and secondly, you’ll have forgotten by the time it comes out!” he told Empire Magazine criticizing the angered fan-base, who had spoken out against the actor earlier.
Advice to the mega fans:
McShane continued his rant advising the Game of Thrones super-fans to get out of the virtual world. “What am I giving away? A character beloved by everybody returns. Get a f*****g life!
McShane roasted the cult drama’s fans for the way they reacted to the season 6 spoilers saying that the show is huge but some fans seem to identify with it too closely. “You want to say, ‘Have you thought about your lifestyle? Maybe you should get out a little more,'” he continued.
The star actor has acted in some major blockbusters; such as Pirates Of The Caribbean, John Wick, Snow White And The Huntsman, The Brothers Grimsby and more. He will next appear in Starz series American Gods in April.
