On Monday, actor of the popular show “24”, Kiefer Sutherland came out with a reply to the criticism made by his 24 co-star, Freddie Prinze Jr. The latter has said that he found it tough to work with the star and felt like quitting acting because of Sutherland’s “unprofessional” behaviour.
The actor has also said that what he was saying was the truth, and according to him he was not the first actor who found Sutherland’s set antics unprofessional. Even though he shot for “24”, the actor“hated every moment of it.”Acting as Cole Ortiz, the 38 year old actor made his appearance in “24” in 2010. Describing the experience as a bad one, he said it was so bad he wanted to quit acting. He said, “I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped.”
But a representative for Sutherland has declared that Sutherland does not share the same feelings. In a statement made by the representative, Sutherland has said that this was the first time he was hearing about Freddie’s grievances and it has been over five years since they worked together on the show. The main protagonist of “24” further said that his experience with Freddie was a pleasant one and he only had best wishes for the actor. In 2009, Sutherland had only kind words for the actor.
Apart from starring in several television shows including “24”, the actor is also best known for roles in movies like “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” and “She’s All That”.
