Robbie Williams sells huge LA mansion to DJ Khaled

It has the postcode made famous by the television show of the same name – Beverly Hills 90210. But that wasn’t enough to keep Robbie Williams there and the singer has now sold his 10,681 square ft home to DJ Khaled for $9.9m.

Former Take That star Mr Williams had originally listed the home last year for $11m, but agreed to take $9.9m to achieve a sale. Sitting in the plush gated Mulholland Estates community, the mansion has seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. While it has the prestigious 90210 zip code, it sits in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood, and has many celebrity neighbours.

The property was custom built 25 years ago and Mr Williams paid $5.45m for it when he bought the home in 2002. Since then, a number of renovations have been carried out at the property. The property has a two-storey entry hall with a stunning sweeping staircase. There is also a formal dining room for entertaining, an office and gump and media room. The house is decorated mostly in white.

Own recording studio

The impressive master bedroom comes with its own sitting room, and doors opening onto a balcony, along with an office and a recording studio, which is sure to have appealed to DJ Khaled. Outside, there is a swimming pool with a waterfall feature, a kitchen garden, spa and an outside dining area. The home also has city and mountain views.

Mr Williams said he had decided to sell up because he had been in the same part of LA for more than a decade. Mr Williams and his wife Ayda Field, who have two children together, have now moved to a new, and even bigger property in Beverly Hills, for which they paid $32m. Having sold more than 70 million albums across the world, he clearly has the funds to afford it.
