Porto and Portuguese international striker, Andre Silva, has signed for Serie A club, side Ac Milan, after he passed their medical at La Madonnina on Monday.
AC Milan has completed the signing of the Portugal international Andre Silva for a fee of around €38 million on Monday afternoon, increasing their summer spending to a staggering €99m.
The Portuguese star now becomes the fourth player to sign for Milan during this transfer window, with the likes of Ricardo Rodriguez, Franck Kessie, Mateo Musacchio all arriving this summer.
The player left the club for less than his €60m release clause because of the Portuguese club side recent sanction from UEFA for not complying with Financial Fair Play obligations, with his agent Jorge Mendes negotiating a fee of around €38m.
The center forward was in great form in the Primeira Liga, netting 16 goals in 32 games for Porto, also scoring 4 goals in 8 Champions League games last season.
Silva expressed his joy after securing the move
“This is an amazing feeling,” he revealed to AC Milan’s official website. “I’m delighted about this great opportunity.”
“I am very much aware of AC Milan’s history . My dream has finally come true and now that am here, I will give my best to the club.”

His country team mate Cristiano Ronaldo has tipped Silva to become his heir with Portugal, while his Agent Mendes has also claimed that the Ex Porto star player can go on to become the best player in the world.
“When I end my career with the national side, I’m sure Portugal won’t have a problem because of the likes of Andre Silva and other young players in the team” Ronaldo said to Gazzette as he further validated Andre Silva’s credential.
