Ajax has announced that midfielder Abdelhak Nouri has been diagnosed with serious and permanent damage to his brain during their game against Werder Bremen on Saturday.

Doctors have now confirmed that he has suffered brain damage after carrying out a CT Scan and neurological tests showed that he had brain abnormalities and the club has now confirmed the worse.
