Strictly Come Dancing is renowned as a place where relationships go to die. The BBC show has broken up countless couples after celebrities fall for professional dancers or simply become so wrapped up in the competition that they have no time left for their partner.
Now, another Strictly celebrity relationship has fallen victim to the Strictly curse.
Model Daisy Lowe, who has been saved by judges in the dance off for two weeks in a row, is said to have broken up with her fellow model boyfriend Bradley ‘Frankie’ Wade.
The 27-year-old is the first this series to have suffered relationship woes after agreeing to appear on the dance show.
She and Bradley only started dating this summer and have already decided to end their romance.
A spokesperson for the couple said: ‘Daisy and Frankie have had a discussion and decided to call it a day due to their mutually busy schedules.”
It is thought the pair were struggling to find any time together because they were both busy with shoots and Daisy with her dance practice.
A source said: “They had a discussion and decided they were better off as friends.”
The time Daisy needed to dedicate to her dance training to stay in the competition put a strain on their relationship.
There is said to be no suggestion that the pro dancer Daisy is partnered with, Slovenian Aljaz Skorjanec, 26, is involved in the split in any way.
Bradley and Daisy first got together in August. They were first spotted in public as a couple during a day out in London’s Primrose Hill.
Up until now, the actor and model had been spotted in the audience at the show in Elstree, North London, to support his girlfriend.
The break up has come as a surprise given that Daisy had only just spoken about how well her romance was going.
The successful model, who performed a Mexican day of the dead themed dance during the latest show, said she saw her Strictly partner more like a brother so her boyfriend did not feel threatened in the slightest.
She even went as far as saying: “I’m so in love with my boyfriend.”
Since the show began, it has been rocked by rumours of romances between celebrities and pro dancers. Many have gone on to have lasting relationships following the end of their alliance on the show.

Sam Dunis
Sam comes from Edinburgh and grew up with his mother and step-dad. His father left the country when he learnt he was going to be a father. Sam never had the opportunity to see him and still wonders what he looks like. School wasn’t his thing, he would rather spend sometime with his friends, play rugby and chat girls up. Sam used to help his step dad, a plumber, during summertime. After doing it for several years, he realized he could work with his father and hopefully take over the family business when his step-father would retire. Sam spends most of his time off taking care of his mother, training with the local rugby team. Sam doesn’t have any girlfriend at the moment. He is therefore going out every weekends.
