Colorpus is a cute little action/adventure game from Pigsels Media (and they’ve got a cute little piggy mascot to go with that logo too). In the game you play a little octopus in pursuit of your captured girlfriend.
The game features a large (and colorful) underwater world full of dangerous monsters and puzzling... uh... puzzles. All of the graphics are hand drawn and (did I mention) colorful.
Colorpus features two unique gameplay elements. The first is its use of “color” to solve puzzles and defeat enemies. The second is its handling of “death.” It’s not GAME OVER when you die. Instead you go to either Heaven or Hell (I don’t remember reading anything about octopus afterlife in the Gospels) before making your escape back to the living world.
Colorpus is available now on PC and Mac. A Linux version is coming soon. Give it a try! There is even a Flash demo available at the website for those of you who don’t like installing things!

Colorpus is also available on Direct2Drive and GamersGate.
