Ready to finish the fight...again? This morning Microsoft announced the official release date for Halo 4, and as many outlets have predicted, November 6 is the day that gamers will get to see that beloved character who has been absent since Halo 3. Yes, I'm talking about Cortana. All signs also point to Master Chief making an appearance in Halo 4, which is supposedly the beginning of a new Halo trilogy.
November 6 is pretty close to what Activision uses as Call of Duty time, so Halo 4 will probably be going up againts Black Ops 2, or whatever the title of the next game is. Seeing these two AAA shooters go head to head will be interesting, especially since they have two different cycles up to this point, with a CoD game being realesed yearly for several years in a row whereas this will be the first Master Chief game in around five years. Want to know some of the innovations we're likely to see in Halo 4 chickety-check out some speculations here.
