Just 3 Months After Giving Birth To First Child, Janet Jackson And Husband Wissam Al Mana Called It Quits

Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana have reportedly split.

Calling it quits:

Page six reports that the iconic singer and youngest sibling of the legendary King of pop, Michael Jackson, has split from her husband Wissam Al Mana. According to the newspaper, it was an amicable split, however, another source claims that Jackson felt that her husband was getting too controlling during her pregnancy.

Jackson and Al Mana, a Qatari businessman, wed in 2012. They welcomed 3 months old son Eissa, last January. Jackson had been previously married to James DeBarge and René Elizondo, Jr.

In 2013, the couple told ETOnline: “Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children’s charities.”

50 year old Al Mana and Jackson were notoriously private about their personal lives. They opened up only every so often. Back in October, Jackson shared a baby-bump photo exclusively with PEOPLE, confirming her first child on the way. The superstar told PEOPLE exclusively: “We thank God for our blessing.”

Post baby healthy Jackson:

A source told PEOPLE back in February that Jackson and her new baby boy are doing “really good,” and that “she absolutely loves” motherhood.

A little over three weeks after giving birth to Eissa, Jackson was spotted out and about during a shopping trip in London. An onlooker told people that the star looked great. She stayed in the shop for around half an hour going about her business. She looked really relaxed and healthy.

The onlooker continued saying that she didn’t look tired at all. She just looked around at some little socks and various other knickknacks and then went on her way.

The first to report the breakup news was the Mail on Sunday.
